銅包鋼有專用接頭器，例如旋緊接頭器、三通接頭器，且連接強(qiáng)度高，只要施工人員將接頭處處理合格，就有很好的防水絕緣效果，有利于延長示蹤線的使用壽命。盡管銅包鋁也有專用接頭器，但是由于銅與鋁的化學(xué)活性差異較大，一旦接頭防腐處理不好，被土壤中的液體侵濕，會(huì)形成原電池，進(jìn)而加速銅包鋁示蹤線發(fā)生電化學(xué)腐蝕，一般1～2a內(nèi)就會(huì)完全腐蝕斷掉，從而失去示蹤作用。

Generally, it will completely corrode and break off within 1-2 years, thus losing its tracing effect.

③銅芯電線的防腐保護(hù)層為PVC材料，其防水、防腐功能較好，但PVC材質(zhì)容易老化，使示蹤線使用壽命縮短；銅包鋼與銅包鋁的外防腐層為聚乙烯材質(zhì)，即與PE管為同一材質(zhì)，在具備了較好的防水性、防腐性的前提下，保證了與一起敷設(shè)的PE管道具有相同的使用壽命。
